Concept sketch: Space Hero

Today met with a friend and dicussed doing a short animation involving a space mission of some kind. The story details are still very vague but we wanted to go for a complete over the top sci fi look. After I got back home I quickly sketched out this suit design. Its not a final but its getting there.

Thumbnails: Honey Trap

Honey trap is going to be a short 3 page spy noir set in Paris. I taken a whole bunch of reference when I was there back in March and have been meaning to do something with it. The idea of a honeytrap situation seemed a perfect fit for Paris. I did want to do something more action based (very Bourne Identity) but for a short this worked much better. Also Im crap at drawing women so this will be some good practice. It should be finished in a few days.

This is the bare bones of a collaboration me and my fellow friend and artist Arran started in art school. Its just a shot from 'All the Presidents Men' that we liked and experimented to see how our styles intertwined. In its unfinished state not alots happening but hopefully by the end of this week we can jazz it up.

Old Sketch book work

This is an old sketchbook page I liked. Its from a project I did illustrating William Golding's 'Lord of the Flies'. It depicts Jack who became chief of the savages.

It has an old National Geographic feel like the portraits you get of native americans which is what I had in mind when i started the project.
